Associate Director of Admissions for Events and Campus Visits

The Associate Director serves as the chief administrator of the recruitment/enrollment event unit with design, supervisory, and fiscal responsibilities. The Associate Director will plan and execute a campus visit program that guides prospective students through the enrollment process while building interest in the University at each stage.

Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree. At least three (3) years of progressive experience in undergraduate admissions or student recruitment at a post-secondary institution. Supervisory experience is required.

Preferred Qualifications: Master’s Degree. Experience preferred in: data assessment and analysis; budgetary/fiscal management; event planning; and territory management to include application review and recruitment travel.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:  Must possess strong written and oral communication skills; an ability to build collaborative relationships; strong public relations skills; strong supervisory skills; excellent computer competency skills; outstanding organizational skills; knowledge of major event planning at a post-secondary institution; and the ability to develop and implement recruitment programs which drive enrollment (campus tours, visitation days, on- and off-campus admitted student events, school counselor luncheons, virtual programs, etc.). Must be able to work evenings and weekends. This individual will be required to travel both in-state and out-of-state.
