ASSISTANT DIRECTOR OF ADMISSIONS FOR CREDIT EVALUATION

Coastal Carolina University is currently accepting applications for one full-time position Assistant Director of Admissions for Credit Evaluation in the Department of Admissions and Merit Awards.

The Assistant Director of Admissions for Credit Evaluation coordinates the transfer credit evaluation process for all undergraduate freshmen, transfer, readmit, and non-degree applicants. This position provides the campus with expertise in higher education for adult, transfer and non-traditional students.

Required: Bachelors Degree and at least one year of related experience.

Preferred: Masters Degree. Experience in higher education programs for adult/transfer student populations or academic advising preferred.

Duties include, but not limited to:
 
 1. Oversees the transfer credit evaluation process for all external college-level credit, including but not limited to dual enrollment coursework for first-year students, two- and four-year credit for all transfer and non-traditional credit-seeking students, and military credit. Assists with meeting enrollment goals for each cohort.
 
2. Maintains personal contact and provides superior customer service to all prospective students. Advises and counsels prospective students/applicants regarding admissions criteria and transfer credits. Completes non-official credit evaluations for prospective students as requested.
 
3. Serves as the chief transfer credit contact for academic advisors. Updates the SC Transfer Credit Guide annually, ensures the SC transfer guide is placed on the website by the deadline. Collaborates with campus departments to ensure updates are made in an accurate and efficient timeline.
 
4. Serves as the primary contact for CCU Complete applicants. Ensures these students are successful from inquiry to matriculation.
 
Student Services Program Coordinator II (CB70/61122309), full-time position with benefits. SC State Pay Grade: GEN07. Salary range: $39,300.00 (minimum) to $53,100.00 (midpoint).  Normal work hours are Monday through Thursday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Must be flexible to meet the special scheduling needs of the university.
